Small words have large implications. Within the word help resides a whopper. Its definition varies depending on the degree of decency in the help offered. Help, as related to the individual offering, can vary in intent. The person who is doing the helping may expect something in return or do it for the pure pleasure of assisting. Regardless of the reason, helping could create a big difference in all our lives. Positive and generous change in how we help one another could create lasting income as well.

People offer to help for different reasons. Because this world is not a Utopia, and never will be, it can be difficult to determine why an offer has been made. Concealed motives seated in vanity and greed can not only overshadow but, destroy what should be offered in love and kindness.

Because helping is the sharing of self and time, we do not know what the commutable effects will be. Kindness and sincerity of helping others often times will contaminate others with the random acts of kindness syndrome. The infections of kindness resist restraints, eventually spreading outward. This causes more giving and more helping to more people.

Providing help to those with deep seated needs will always bring positive consequences into the lives of everyone involved. Being a positive influence is like a spark in dry tender. It starts a fire that burns fervently! When you are truly sincere about helping someone and they notice, they "pay it forward", helping the next person they see in need, spreading the effects to lives they don't even have direct contact with.

Helping gives us more peace and happiness especially when we are able to give others the things that they are deprived of. Helping is not only giving out material things, it could be as simple as giving out advice to a friend or simply listening to other people's heartaches. Being there on the unhappiest moment of anyone life could be a big help for those who just need someone to comfort them.

Generosity is self producing. It is one of those things that withers and dies if not used. However, once called into action, it is self perpetuating and replicates rapidly. As a result, it lifts the giver as well as the receiver in multiples of the effort expended. This is the kind of investment valued beyond mere carnal wealth. It is the wealth of the heart and soul of mankind.

Being generous is a very righteous deed. Not all people are very comfortable in being generous at all times. Maybe because of a bad experience in the past that leaves with them a mark about how generosity can be very painful at times. One must always remember that it isn't always what we expect it. Some people may not appreciate what we do; others may misinterpret your motives as to why you are voluntarily helping; but as they say "one bad apple doesn't spoil the whole bunch."

The most vital thing to remember about being truly helpful and bringing about a positive and generous change that builds a lasting income for all of us is to do it with a pure and clean heart. You may not receive the instant gratification of an immediate reward, but you will feel better about yourself and your fellow man.
